Vladimir Putin’s attack dog former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has sparked World War 3 fears after claiming “Germany is preparing for war with Russia” in a rambling tirade.
The comments come following intercepted German communications that allegedly show German Air Force Officers discussing providing Ukraine with the Taurus missile.
Writing on Telegram Medvedev said: “Attempts to present the conversation of Bundeswehr [German military] officers as a game of rockets and tanks are a malicious lie. Germany is preparing for war with Russia.”
The Taurus is a Swedish-German air-launched cruise missile comparable to the UK’s Storm Shadow which has been provided to Kyiv. Russia has warned Germany against providing Ukraine with the weapons.
That news comes as NATO kicks off a massive military exercise on Vladimir Putin’s doorstep.
