Vile hate note telling 'low life' English with 'vomit-inducing accent' to leave is found

A note posted on a door in Wales told the English people living in the seaside town they had”vomit-inducing accents” and asked them to leave. The hate note was found at a house in Iorwerth Avenue in Aberystwyth on the evening of January 8.

It described those living in the house as “low-life” and that before the arrival of English residents, the area was “quiet and pleasant”.

The discovery of the note, which is now the subject of a police investigation, has prompted authorities to release some of the contents of what it said.

It reads: “Iorwerth Ave. was once a quiet, pleasant residential area until a load of s*** from the Midlands hit it. Low-life like you should be forced to live in fenced tinker sites preferably back where you come from.

“Why don’t you take your clapped-out, crappy boats, Jeeps, cars and your hideous, vomit-inducing accents back to Brummyland and please take a few thousand yaw yaws with you.”

In their statement, a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are investigating a hate incident in Iorwerth Avenue, Aberystwyth.

“An offensive note was left outside a property that has caused distress to the occupants. The note was left just after 7pm on the evening of January 8.”

The force would like to speak with the individual who left the note. They are also appealing for anyone with any information, CCTV or doorbell camera footage of the area to get in touch with them.

Police can be contacted via the website, email (101@dyfed-powys.police.uk), direct messaging them on social media, or calling their non-emergency contact number 101, by quoting the reference number 24000043691.
