UK's unluckiest woman after winning National Lottery numbers revealed

One woman is quite possibly Britain’s most unlucky person after this week’s National Lottery Set for Life numbers were revealed.

The woman, named Nicole, took to Twitter after the Monday draw, where this week’s numbers were revealed to be two, 11, 19, 38, 43 with the life ball, which gives players the opportunity to win extra cash, being six.

In her post, Nicole revealed her picks for the week, getting the life ball correct but with all of her five normal numbers being just one digit out.

Her numbers were three, 12, 20, 39 and 44, with six as her life ball.

Accompanying the pictures of her numbers and the draw, Nicole said: “Oh my god. why do bad things always happen to me.”

She added: “This is a sick joke, I’m still staring at it.”

Had she been successful in getting all her numbers correct, Nicole would have won the incredible prize of £10,000 a year for the next 30 years – totalling a whopping £3.6m in winnings spread out over three decades.

Some followers said they understood her frustration, while others found it “hilarious”.

One reply read: “This would piss me off until I was 65 years old.”

While another added they had experienced something similar, writing: “This has happened to me, twice.”
