Ukraine staged one of its biggest attacks on the war on Russia, striking a major explosives plant and the largest oil loading terminal in occupied Crimea.

Both exploded in giant flames – two of multiple targets hit in an overnight onslaught against Vladimir Putin involving more than 250 drones.

The blitzkrieg came the day after savage Russian terror strikes which wiped out five members of the same family in Lviv, including tragic schoolgirl Anastasia Hrytsiv, 15 [pictured], her mother Ulyana, 40, her stepfather and his parents.

Her bereaved father has been a fighter against Russia for almost four years, say reports.

Ukrainian drones reportedly ignited the Sverdlov plant in Dzerzhinsk, one of the largest Russian manufacturers of explosives, detonators, munitions components, including aviation bombs, artillery shells, and warheads for missiles.

The fire-hit plant, 230 miles east of Moscow in Nizhny Novgorod region, is a key supplier of Russia’s war machine.

With Russian petrol prices soaring and supplies critical in dozens of regions, Ukraine set ablaze the main oil depot in Putin-occupied Crimea at Feodosia.

Flames shot up hundreds of feet, according too local reports.

The fire was visible from more than ten miles away with severe damage feared to a facility that had been previously hit.

Some 85 oil-linked targets have been hit by Ukraine in two months crippling the Russian economy and hurting military supplies, with fuel rationing being introduced in worst-hit areas, which includes Crimea.

Other overnight Ukrainian strikes in Crimea struck a military unit near Yevpatoria and Saky military airfield, said local media.

Russia claimed to have shot down 251 drones – the second highest number of the war.

Forty were over Crimea and 62 over the Black Sea.

Ukraine also knocked out a power plant in Klintsy, Bryansk region and a substation in Belgorod region, resulting in power cuts.

There was chaos in Black Sea resorts Sochi and, with both airport closed, amid suspicions Putin is in the region ahead of his 73rd birthday on Tuesday.

Dozens of flights were delayed.

Explosions were also heard in Moscow and Ryazan regions with air defences shooting down Ukrainian drones.

Russia kept on killing civilians with its attacks.

As well as the deaths in Lviv, a woman pensioner, 69, died in Ukraine’s Kherson region in a strike on her home.

Private homes were again hit in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city.
