Weather maps show torrential rain is set to sweep across the United Kingdom as the mercury remains below zero for many.
Latest forecasts from WxCharts, using Met Desk data, says vast swathes of England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland will be a complete wash out on Saturday, April 27.
The forecaster also says there is a chance for yet more snow in northern Scotland.
The north west, Yorkshire, and Wales look set to be hit worse by the rain at the weekend, with the south east receiving a battering days later on April 30.
A map from Net Weather shows the entire east of England could be at risk of storms on Monday.
It comes as the Environment Agency has issued four flood warnings – in Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire – as well as 57 flood alerts.
A spokesman said: “Local flooding from groundwater is possible in parts of Dorset and Wiltshire and possible but not expected in other parts of the South of England until Friday.
“Local flooding is possible but not expected from coastal/tidal in parts of Norfolk on Friday.
“Lands, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.”
As well as wet weather, the maps forecast the subzero temperatures are set to continue through to the end of April.
For large parts of Britain temperatures will continue to drop to 1C with some parts of northern England and Scotland to remain at zero during the cooler parts of the day.
The Met Office forecast meanwhile says there will be “heavy blustery showers” in the coming days.
It says Thursday will be: “Breezy in the north as light rain moves southeastwards across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north England.
“Plenty of sunshine ahead of this further south after a cold start. Feel warm.”
There will then be: “Settled conditions developing from Friday with some sunny spells especially in the west. Temperatures slowly increasing for many although likely cloudy and cool on the east coast.”
Heading later into the month the Met Office says there is likely to be overnight frost in some rural areas with showers across eastern and southern England.
