The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings in 12 regions across the UK for snow and ice, as temperatures could plummet to -10C from today.
The warning will come into place across northern Scotland from 12am on Sunday and from 3am on Monday for Northern Ireland.
From Tuesday January 16, further snow showers are expected across the UK.
