Tragedy at UK beauty spot as man dies with two women pulled from water


A man has tragically died after being pulled from the water at a popular UK beauty spot and two women are pulled from water. Two women were also rescued from the water after an incident at a beauty spot in Clackmannanshire, central Scotland this morning.

Emergency services raced to Dollar Glen at around 10.30am on Saturday, April 12 after being made aware of three people in danger in the water.

All three were removed from the water, however the man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, the Daily Record reports.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for three people in water in the Dollar Glen area near Dollar shortly after 10.30am on Saturday, 13 April.

“Officers attended, along with a range of other emergency services. All three were removed from the water. A 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women received treatment from the Scottish Ambulance Service. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
