Three things 'make your house look cheap' if selling – and pay special attention to third

Realtor Lorene Hetherington revealed some things that are making your home look cheap, along with one thing you’ll definitely want to keep on your radar if you’re looking to put your home up for sale.

In a social media upload, Hetherington advised against having any type of cord clutter in your home. That means TV, lamp, microwave, vacuum cords and more should be tucked away.

There’s another type of clutter making your home look cheap, according to the realtor. In her TikTok recording, she mentioned you should rid your fridge of any clutter, particularly from kids.

This doesn’t mean no hanging any of their art projects up. Instead, it could be best to highlight your favorites and organize them for a nice display.

“Basically, if you don’t essentially need it on a day-to-day living, get rid of it.”

Someone in the comments of the TikTok upload shared a method that they use to hide the appearance of cords in their home as they don’t like them.

They wrote: “Cord clutter is my biggest pet peeve. I have little Velcro ties to keep them all organized.”
