This Morning viewers slam 'unprofessional' Ben and Cat during heated debate

This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were speaking to guest star Vanessa Feltz on Wednesday following news that women still do an hour’s more housework per day than men.

The gender gap for chores was widest among families with children under the age of 18, with dads doing on average one hour and 43 minutes a day, while mums did two hours and 46 minutes.

As soon as the conversation began, the hosts and Vanessa started shouting over one another as it became a battle of the sexes, with Ben jokingly defending the male position on the subject.

The debate grew louder and louder as the trio fought to get their opinions heard and viewers were quick to call the hosts out for their “unprofessionalism”.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, @mrdanleslie wrote: “Stop speaking over each other !!! So unprofessional #ThisMorning” with many other viewers responding in agreement.

@senorapple2014 added: “This is not a f****** shouting match!” With @leahcharlesking adding: “Gosh, the way you’re all talking over each other.”

@Borisnose2 shared: “Christ can you all please calm the f*** down”, while @tracyleigh01 said: “Omg the screeching on This Morning stfu!”

@mostlystupid concluded: “COULD EVERYONE STOP TALKING OVER EACH OTHER?!?! #thismorning”

Ben called Cat a “control freak” after she said she needed to prep and plan everything before the day had even begun.

While she wagged her finger and shouted at Ben, Vanessa chimed in with: “I once went to Chicago to co-host the Jerry Springer show and I had to make and label every single meal for my whole trip…”

Ben then interrupted with: “Can I just make a point? Do you think anybody would have starved had you not made those labels?”

Vanessa erupted once more as Ben attempted to defend men.
