On Thursday afternoon, Jay Blades’ wife Lisa Marie Zbozen confirmed they’ve decided to call it a day on their marriage. The Repair Shop star tied the knot with the fitness instructor back in 2021.
Although the BBC host is yet to address the split himself, he shared a cryptic post on social media a few days ago. The snap shows Jay solemnly looking into the distance while sitting in a distressed-looking building.
He captioned the snap: “If we as a Community don’t Step up to help each other, then who Will? My Community [sic]. Thank You So Much, for Stepping Up for Me.”
Jay and Marie got married at an intimate ceremony in Barbados with only 15 loved ones there to witness the union. The fitness instructor detailed her split with Jay on her professional page as she described the situation as “really raw”.
She told her followers she decided to leave The Repair Shop star last weekend. She wrote: “I probably should be really angry but I’m just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now.
“I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much.”
The instructor explained to her followers this has been the reason there’s been no new workout videos on her page as she takes time to adjust.
She continued: “This is the first post I’ve made out loud, and it feels like I’m numb. I will admit I’m crying as I type this as I can’t believe this is even real.”
Lisa signed off her post by admitting she was “very broken” before people flooded her with comments of support.

The announcement of their split comes just days after the BBC star attended his uncle Richard Brathwaite’s funeral.
Reportedly, his uncle was stabbed in a quiet residential area following a dispute.
On his Instagram story, Jay told his followers the death of his family member had really affected him.
He said: “So what I’m intending on doing is this… I’m coming off social media for a bit. I’ll be back in a bit. Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out.
“When things happen sometimes you really need to take stock and just relax.
“Please, take care of each other, take care of yourself, and I’ll see you guys soon.”
