The Leonardo is one of the tallest buildings in Africa at a massive 738ft high (234 metres).
The mammoth 55-floor hotel cost £87million to build, equivalent to around 2billion South African Rand.
It is located in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa, and is the fourth tallest building on the continent of Africa.
Just 100 metres from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, it is in the heart of the city and boasts a number of luxurious features.
They include a swimming pool, restaurant, and shops at street level.
One apartment in the hotel complex, which is 2100 square metres and has three floors, is set to go on the market for £7.8million, or 180million South African Rand.
In total, the hotel has 200 apartments and 11 floors of commercial office.
Construction on the Leonardo started in 2015 and for a brief period was the tallest building in Africa.
It has since been surpassed by the Mohammed VI Tower in Salé, Morocco at 250m, the Great Mosque of Algiers Tower in Algeria, standing at 264 metres, and the Iconic Tower in Egypt which stands at nearly 400 metres.
In April, the doors opened on the Leonardo’s 45th floor.
The floor will be used for conferences, but it also offers a 360-degree view of the city.
Sales director of Legacy Hotels and Resorts Hara Jackson said: “Our newest offering, Level 45, will now join the ranks as a flagship event venue in Joburg.”
Those who have stayed at the hotel gave their thoughts on the Leonardo.
