As another episode of The Chase aired on Thursday, ITV viewers admitted they “muted” the show after growing tired of host Bradley Walsh’s jokes and “chit chit” with the players in between rounds.
The 63-year-old appeared to be in a playful mood during the course of the episode as he larked around with the four contestants and chaser Shaun Wallace, also known as The Dark Destroyer.
However, viewers weren’t best pleased with his antics as they flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their grievances with one another.
One frustrated viewer wrote on social media: “#thechase Bradley’s jokes even worse than usual. Which I didn’t realise was possible.”
Another person agreed as they fumed: “#thechase Got to the point where I’m mainly watching this on mute & with subtitles.” (sic)
