Texas woman killed in road-rage shooting after husband says he 'flipped off' driver



A Texas woman died after being shot in a road-rage incident on Monday, police said. 

According to a police statement, Paola Nunez Linares, 37 was in the passenger seat of the car with her husband who was driving near Hurst, between Fort Worth and Dallas.  

Zane Jones, her husband, told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth he flipped off a car that was driving aggressively. In response, Jones said the driver fired several shots into the couple’s minivan, striking Nunez Linares in the back of the head. 

She was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital, police said.
