Tesco shoppers dash to secure best iPhone and Samsung Galaxy prices with Clubcard offer

UK supermarket favourite Tesco has just launched a tempting new smartphone deal that you won’t want to miss out on if you are planning to upgrade your handset soon. Tesco Mobile is offering the the latest Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel smartphones on contract at competitive prices that get even cheaper if you have a free Tesco Clubcard and are then frozen for the entire length of your contract – making you immune to the mid-contract prices rises you’ll get stung with from other phone sellers.

Tesco Mobile has a selection of top smartphones on 12, 18, 24, 30, or 36 month contracts with special discounts if you have a Tesco Clubcard, the supermarket’s free loyalty card. If you upgrade your current Tesco Mobile contract or start a new one while taking advantage of a Clubcard discount, Tesco will also freeze your monthly contract price, something most other retailers don’t promise.

Most phone contract prices rise once per year in the UK as mobile operators put costs up in line with either the Retail Prices Index (RPI) or the Consumer Prices Index (CPI). Their argument is it’s to cover costs on their end but many people don’t realise their phone bill could rise one per year during the course of a three year (36 month) contract.

Tesco Mobile is offering the new 128GB Samsung Galaxy S24 on a 36 month contract for £39.99 per month, netting you unlimited calls and texts with 25GB monthly mobile data. That monthly price is guaranteed not to change for the whole period, and is down from the usual £45.49 rate.

If you’re after the latest high-end iPhone or Samsung Galaxy handset, these deals could be a great way for you to spread the cost of this expensive tech kit over 36 months with the peace of mind that you won’t get hit with price rise bill shock at any point.
