Tesco and Sainsbury's issue urgent food warning for two foods that are 'unsafe to eat'

Jolly Hog is recalling BBQ Pork Hoguettes because of undeclared milk.

This means that the product contains milk which hasn’t been mentioned on the label, hence being a health risk for those allergic to milk, or those who are lactose intolerant.

The product, typically sold at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, will no longer be available for the foreseeable future.

The FSA insists that, if you have an “allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it”.

One can return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Another product that has been recalled is the Patak’s Aubergine Pickle by AB World Foods.

The product harbours the risk of containing pieces of glass, making it unsafe to eat.  The FSA has warned consumers “do not eat it”.

Patak’s Aubergine Pickle is sold at Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.
