Meg Day, 49, a Selmer Elementary School employee, is accused of grabbing the 9-year-old special needs boy by his lower body and yanking him across the carpet in a disturbing March 19 incident, according to the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office, WREG reported.

The sickening incident reportedly erupted just days after another faculty member allegedly attacked a student in the same school district, located about 100 miles east of Memphis.

Sequoia Ann Hively, 65, a lunch lady at Selmer Middle School, was arrested after allegedly slapping a 15-year-old dancing student in the back of the head on March 13.

The student was checked by the nurse and did not suffer any injuries during the attack, which was caught on surveillance footage, the outlet reported.

The school superintendent told the teen’s father that Hively would not be allowed back at the school until the matter was resolved, police said.
