A teen was fatally stabbed during a clash on board a rush hour train passing through the East Village Thursday morning, cops said.

The 19-year-old victim was knifed in the leg on board an uptown L train at the First Avenue and East 14th Station around 8:10 a.m., authorities said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

A person of interest was swiftly taken into custody with charges pending, cops said.

The attack stemmed from a skirmish between the two straphangers, authorities said, but it was not immediately clear what sparked the fight.

The mayhem came just over a week after a bigoted subway mugger shook a Muslim woman, threw her to the ground and ominously taunted her over Mayor Zohran Mamdani in Brooklyn, according to cops and sources.

The assailant remains at large in the March 17 attack, which is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force.

It also comes weeks after an illegal migrant allegedly shoved two men onto Upper East Side subway tracks – including 83-year-old US Air Force veteran Richard Williams, who has since succumbed to his injuries.

Honduran national Bairon Hernandez, 34, was arrested March 10 — and his charges have been upgraded to murder following Williams’ death, court records show.
