What our Post expert thinks about Iowa vs. Nebraska
This is the biggest moment in program history for Nebraska.
After the Cornhuskers got the monkey off their back in Round 1, they turned in a gritty performance against Vanderbilt, squeezing out the 74-72 victory.
Nebraska fans travel well for any sport, and they showed up in a big way in the Round of 32, so expect the crowd in Houston to be painted Cornhusker red. That could help the Huskers as they try to upset the defending champions and punch their tickets to the Elite 8.
Iowa won’t go down easy, though.
