Sunol fire prompts evacuation orders near Pleasanton

A fast-moving wildfire broke out in the Bay Area on Tuesday afternoon, forcing evacuations as it exploded to 150 acres.

The Little Fire started near Sunol in the East Bay and quickly grew in size, leading fire officials to issue evacuation orders for for nearby zones, according to CALFIRE.

The blaze was burning near several homes on Little Valley Road, according to KRON4.

Images of the fire showed heavy smoke billowing from the area as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
