Shoppers excited about new Nestle chocolate bar that ‘tastes like Nutella’

Nestle has launched a new hazelnut flavoured version of their popular Aero chocolate bar, which many shoppers say tastes just like Nutella.

Launched for Easter, Nestle’s Aero Share-a-Bubble Choco Hazelnut is said to bring a nuttier taste to the bubbly chocolate treat.

Whilst the bar has only just been released, it has already caused quite a stir from chocolate fans, who were quick to praise it.

Taking to Facebook, the page Newfoodsuk shared a picture of the new bar, stating their excitement to find it in their local shop.

They said: “New Choco Hazelnut flavour Aero spotted [at] our local convenience store!!”

Whilst Nutella, typically bought as a spread, is also included in B-Ready biscuit bars, its owner Ferrero has never made a full chocolate bar that incorporates its distinctive taste.

However, people that have tried the new Nestle bar have said that the blended chocolate and hazelnut works incredibly well.

The bar is currently only available as a 145g sharing bar, priced at £1.25, also announcing that the long-standing peppermint flavoured Aero has also been launched in this larger size.

Michael Kehoe, Assistant Brand Manager for Aero, shares the enthusiasm of the new flavour with the bar’s buyers.

He explained: “We can’t wait to share the heavenly combination of Aero and hazelnut. Aero’s iconic light and airy chocolate bubbles have been loved worldwide for decades, and this new hazelnut flavour takes it to a whole new level.

“We hope our Aero fans will enjoy the indulgent taste experience of the rich hazelnut flavour whilst feeling the bubbles melt.”

With 840 likes and 246 comments on Newfoodsuk’s post, it is clear that Nestle’s new chocolate bar has caught the attention of shoppers.

One Facebook user commented: “This chocolate bar is amazing!! Tastes like Nutella.”

Another added: “I like this one better than the others.”
