A tech CEO tragically died after falling 15 feet from a cage during a company party in India.
Sanjay Shah, the CEO of Vistex, and Vishwanath Raju Datla, the President, were making a grand entrance onto the stage when a wire snapped, causing the cage to drop, according to the Times of India.
The horrifying incident was caught on video, showing the cage wobbling as fireworks exploded and a voice asked the crowd to “put their hands together” for the pair.
The cage then dropped suddenly, sending the two men plummeting to the ground.
Shah was killed in the accident, while Datla was left critically injured.
