A second man has been charged with arson over fires at properties linked to Sir Keir Starmer.
Romanian national Stanislav Carpiuc, 26, from Romford, is accused of arson with intent to endanger life, the Metropolitan Police said.
He is accused of conspiring with Ukrainian Roman Lavrynovych, who appeared in court last week, and others unknown “to damage by fire property belonging to another, intending to damage the property, intending to endanger the life of another or being reckless as to whether the life of another would thereby be endangered”.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.
Carpiuc was arrested on Saturday May 17 at London Luton Airport by counter terrorism officers from the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit, the Met said.
A 34-year-old man was also arrested on Monday May 19 in the Chelsea area on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in police custody.
