Royal fans spot clue Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'back to their old selves'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had quite a week, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Royally Obsessed, a US-based podcast, has a Facebook club and members have been sharing their thoughts on how the Sussexes have had a bit of a morale makeover.

One member, Vee Sturgis RN, shared a photo of the couple, writing, “Harry and Meghan tonight in B.C. looking very 2018-ish.”

The royal watcher is referring to 2018, because that’s when Harry and Meghan were married, and it appears she’s seeing something in them that is reminiscent of those early days.

Harry and Meghan were in Vancouver, Canada last week for the Invictus Games one-year countdown. The photo was taken at Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, located in Whistler, where Harry and Meghan presented and met with members of the community.

In the photo, the royal couple are seen dressed casually, yet chic, both wearing long navy blue wool coats. More importantly, they are both donning big smiles.

We can see Harry pointing at something off-camera, with Meghan following his lead. It’s not clear what he’s pointing at, possibly artwork, which was a part of the reception, but it is clear that he’s excited.

Other members of the group agreed with the observation, writing in the comments section, “Yes, it does look like a royal tour,” and “Yes! That’s the era this pic reminded me of.”

It seems that more than one fan is seeing a shift in attitude, and it could be accredited to the atmosphere. It’s being said, the Invictus Games have a positive effect on Harry and it brings out the best in him.

Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014, which supports and celebrates wounded veterans in their physical and emotional recovery.

The Facebook page admin, Grace Meyer Bright, shared three photos from the same event, writing, “Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out for the third and final day of the Invictus Games One Year to Go celebration in Canada, joining Canadian Armed Forces veteran families and Invictus alumni at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver. The Duke of Sussex tried wheelchair curling alongside a special guest, Michael Bublé.”

The evening ended with a reception where the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 brand identity was unveiled, artwork “created by four of British Columbia’s leading indigenous artists and is the first time artists from these nations have collaborated on a single work.”

“This collaboration marks the first time all four First Nations have come together to develop a piece of art.”
