In the video, Duchess Sophie can also be seen walking slowly behind Beatrice joined by her daughter Lady Louise Windsor as they both waved and greeted the group.
Royal fans were quick to notice the sweet interaction and took to social media to praise the princess.
One user wrote “make Princess Beatrice a senior royal”, while another said: “I like Beatrice, she has grown so much since her marriage. She’s a councillor of state so I guess she’s trusted. Also, her husband is from Italian aristocracy (he’s a count), so he understands royal protocol.”
A third added: “She is a counsellor of state so she obviously has some endearing qualities”, while a fourth one said: “Yes! Absolutely adore her and Edo. They would make great fill in’s as some older Royals retire from duties.”
