Princess Kate is set to host her biggest event of the year this Friday as 1,600 people are set to gather in Westminster Abbey for her Together At Christmas carol service event.
Ahead of the big day, The Princess of Wales – who has had a difficult year following her cancer diagnosis – released a letter that will be given to attendees, detailing the importance of kindness. forgiveness and empathy.
According to Geo TV, some believe the letter could be an olive branch from the future Queen to Prince Harry, who she is believed to no longer be on talking terms with.
Parts of the letter read that people should be reminded “of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences”.
The princess also wrote: “It is when we stop and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life, that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart. Above all else, it encourages us to turn to love, not fear.
“The love that we show ourselves and the love we show others. Love that listens with empathy, love that is kind and understanding, love that is forgiving, and love that brings joy and hope.”
