Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan given six-word warning ahead of UK visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told to “do more” to boost their rankings in British polls ahead of a return visit to the UK next month. Harry is set to attend a very special service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The inaugural event of these games, first aimed at sick and injured servicemen and women, was held in London in 2014 and co-founded by Harry. Although it is not yet known if the Duchess of Sussex will visit the UK alongside her husband, a new poll by YouGov has shown the latest popularity results for the royal duo.

A royal correspondent has since expressed the couple “still have some way to go” to increase their popularity in Britain. In terms of favorability of the Royal Family, Harry has been favoured by 31 percent of those polled, and Meghan by only 21 percent.

GB News Royal Correspondent, Cameron Walker, told hosts: “They still have some way to go if they are to increase their popularity with the British public.”

The couple’s results major differently from those of their sister-in-law, Kate, Princess of Wales, who who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, following her diagnosis. According to the poll by GovUK, the 42-year-old was favoured by 76 percent of the total of 2,004 adults polled for the results.

Ahead of the visit, Prince Harry has been issued an Invictus Games warning as critics believe Meghan Markle could “steal the spotlight” if she returns to the UK with him for a special anniversary event.
