Speaking to Fox News Digital, Helena Chard claimed the Duchess of Sussex is trying to bag a new Netflix deal as her original $100 million contract nears its reported September expiration.
While the streaming giant is thought to be cautious about renewing, insiders claim Meghan remains in talks due to Netflix’s financial interest in her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Her birthday this week comes as she faces mounting pressure to prove her commercial value after a series of underperforming projects.
Ms Chard suggested that despite ongoing efforts to rebrand, public interest is fading fast. However, she added: “Meghan will continue to hustle her wares and beaver away until she builds her empire.”
