Manchester United could today learn whether they can press forward with their attempts to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as he prepares to decide on his next club. Newcastle United have launched an aggressive pursuit to beat the Red Devils to Sesko’s signature as both Premier League sides await his preference.
With less than two weeks to go until the start of the season, Ruben Amorim reportedly also wants a midfielder and a goalkeeper. A failure to sign Sesko could prompt him to change his immediate priority and move away from a striker, trusting Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha to provide goals.
