Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle hit by major setback as project 'put on ice for a year'

Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated podcast launch got pushed back to 2025 so it’s not overshadowed by her latest cookery show on Netflix, a source has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex made headlines back in February after it was announced that she had struck a deal with podcast distributor Lemonada Media for a new series which she will host herself.

The female-founded company will also distribute Meghan’s previous Spotify series Archetypes to all its podcast platforms.

But now it has emerged that Lemonada is concerned there would be “scheduling conflicts” between the launch of its podcasts and that of Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard and it does not want the launch to be overshadowed by her latest cooking show, the title of which is yet to be revealed.

A California-based source told the Mail: “The relaunch of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast got pushed back to 2025.”
