Royal Family fans all saying the same thing about Princess Kate amid long recovery

Royal Family fans have sent their best wishes to Princess Kate as she continues to recuperate at home in Windsor, having undergone a major operation last month.

In January it was announced by Kensington Palace that Kate had undergone planned abdominal surgery and although the operation had been a success, she would be taking extended time off from royal duties to recover.

It is not expected that she will be back in a public facing role until Easter at the earliest, and she did not attend the memorial service for King Constantine of Greece on Tuesday.

Prince William also pulled out of the service at the last minute due to personal reasons, although the Palace later confirmed that those reasons were unrelated to his wife’s condition as they clarified she was still doing well.

Royal watchers on social media shared their relief, with one posting on X: “Great to hear that Catherine, the Princess of Wales is doing well.

“Fun, down to earth and a nice woman. So looking forward to when she returns back to Royal duties when she’s ready.”

Another added: “Happy to hear Catherine is doing well. The day she returns (when she is ready), she will break the internet within seconds. I’m looking forward to that.”

A third wrote: “Kensington Palace said Kate Middleton is ‘doing well’ after her abdominal surgery. That’s good to hear. Hopefully they’ll release a photo of her soon.”

One royal watcher said: “Prayers for William. That’s why there are several working members of the Royal Family. So they can take time off as needed. Love and Prayers to Catherine too! Get well soon, Princess!”

A further explanation for William’s absence from the service has not been given, however it is understood that it is not connected to the death of Thomas Kingston, which was announced yesterday.

The husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor and friend of William’s was found dead unexpectedly at his home in Gloucestershire, although the circumstances are not considered suspicious.
