Prince William and Princess Kate have previously shown support for the Invictus Games by providing a substantial amount of money for it through their Royal Foundation.

A royal source was quoted: “Prince William and Catherine always supported Harry’s efforts to establish Invictus. They are delighted that it has been a success.”

The Invictus Games was co-founded by Prince Harry in order for sick and injured servicemen and women to compete in sporting events.

Since it began in 2014, both the Duke, and later Meghan, have been avid supporters of the event. They recently travelled to Canada to promote the 2025 games, which will take place in Vancouver and Whistler.
