A royal commentator hung up during a live interview after being slammed by TalkTV presenter JJ Anisiobi. Angela Levin appeared on the show today (April 22) to discuss Meghan Markle’s new business venture after she unveiled her new strawberry jam last Monday.
But the conversation didn’t appear to go well, with host JJ calling the royal expert, who has penned three books on the royals, a “troll”. In response, Ms Levin simply said: “That’s very rude.”
Discussing Meghan’s friend Abigail Spencer receiving a jar of the jam, the royal expert said it seemed “set up”. JJ said: “It’s PR. She’s trying to advertise something. This is PR.” Ms Levin said in response: “I know what PR is.” But JJ didn’t stop there, adding: “With respect, you don’t. You’re saying it’s set up. It’s a PR stunt.”
And this appears to be the last straw for Ms Levin, as she says before hanging up: “You’re here to fight me so why don’t you say goodbye. You’re very rude.”
The move clearly frustrates JJ, who says: “This is what happens when you challenge people. Some people don’t like it. And if people can’t answer the truths, they hang up.”
Now Abigail Spencer, who appears to be very close to Meghan, posted a series of new snaps on her Instagram page featuring the jam. In the pictures, the 42-year-old, who was gifted jar number six, can be seen posing with the item in a sunny garden with her dog.
The jam har is presented in a bowl of lemons and flowers. The actress captioned the post: “This jam is my jam. A delicious taste of what’s to come indeed… love you so M [strawberry, lemon and cherry emojis] @americanrivieraorchard.”
