Tory MPs from two right-wing groups are uniting as Rishi Sunak comes under intense pressure over migration.
The European Research Group (ERG) and New Conservatives held a rare joint meeting last night and have another tonight.
The ERG of backbench Tory Brexiteers led by Mark Francois attended the New Conservatives’ weekly gathering on Monday.
And tonight the New Conservatives, made up of Tory MPs elected since the Brexit referendum, will attend the ERG’s meeting.

It will pile yet further pressure on the Prime Minister over his plans to tackle growing legal migration numbers into the UK.
