Remove tissue from washed clothes instantly with ‘genius’ £1 staple item without rewashing

He said: “So I just got this sweatshirt out of the wash and I think I might’ve washed it with some sort of tissue.”

Initially, the cleaner was just using a lint roller to try and remove the tissue, but he claimed that “this really wasn’t lifting it out.”

He then said he had the idea to use a rubber glove. With the rubber glove on, the cleaning pro simply rubbed his hand through the sweatshirt to remove the tissue buildup and it instantly worked.

He said: “Similar to cleaning up pet hair, this is working fast and easy to remove all of the fuzz on the sweatshirt.”

Taking to the comments section, one TikTok user asked whether the glove needs to be wet or dry, to which the cleaner responded: “Dry works great”.

The post also received other comments praising the expert for this tip. One user claimed this tip was “genius”, while another said: “Good to know because I may or may not be accidentally doing this all the time.”

Somebody else replied: “Yes! I discovered this works when washing cushion covers that had feathers stuck in the fabric.

“Take them outside, lay on a table and rub them off. So much easier than using any kind of brush/fingers.”

A third wrote: “Thank you for this! I took two pairs of black leggings out of the wash covered in it and genuinely didn’t know how to get it off.”
