Real reason Meghan Markle 'encouraged' Prince Harry to go to UK alone to see King Charles

Meghan Markle chose not to accompany Prince Harry on his visit to King Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Instead, she stayed in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Some believe that Meghan may have felt this was a journey Harry needed to make alone.

Grant Harrold, who previously worked as a butler for King Charles, suggested to the New York Post: “Meghan made the decision that it was best to stay home with the children, and maybe she feels that this is something Harry has got to do alone.”

He added: “It’s his father. She’s aware of the close relationship and probably encouraged him to come over.”

He claimed that she “never felt at home” in the UK and that Meghan “never wants to set foot again in England.”

But with the recent news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, things could change.

The Prince of Wales was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate last month and spent three days in hospital.

During his treatment, doctors discovered another unrelated issue which was later identified as cancer.

A source close to Prince Harry told The Mirror that Charles himself informed his son about his health condition.

“The duke did speak with his father about his diagnosis. He will be traveling to UK to see His Majesty in the coming days,” the source revealed.
