Queen Letizia wows in Christmas red as she leaves fans saying exactly the same thing

The 51-year-old wore a stunning red maxi dress, paired with a long black overcoat and black clutch bag, topped off with black heeled boots as she arrived to chair a meeting of eight directors from the Spanish language centre.

Letizia also added a black waist belt to her long flowing dress, which allowed the Queen to show off her figure.

She donned striking makeup, adding a touch of shimmer to her bronze look. She added a scarlet red lip, matching her choice of dress and complimenting her red emerald drop earrings, for an overall regal sparkle.

The Queen let her flowing bouncy blow dried brunette locks sit shoulder height, in what appears to be a nineties inspired hair look.

Royal enthusiasts on Instagram managed to break down the items featured in the Queen’s look, which included some of her favourite designers.

Her black overcoat was a repeat wear from Carolina Herrera, a designer Letizia frequently wears. Her dress was a new purchase, the Dries Van Outen Long Sleeve Waisted Dress in Red, retailing at £774 (€895).

She added another Carolina Herrera piece to her look, this time repeating her Victoria Insignia bag, with La Touche Collection Black Suede Boots – which were also a repeat wear.

The Queen finalised her look with a statement pair of earrings by Aldao Ruby Cabochon Earrings, which are also a repeat wear for the Queen.‌

Her look had fans swooning on social media, praising her for her style choices. One user said: “Perfect dress and boot combination. Looks professional but comfortable and relaxed!”

Another wrote: “Simple, elegant, classic, perfect”, with another adding: “Love everything about this look. Perfection!”

One comment simply read: “Perfect”.

The Spanish royals will welcome the Christmas holidays after a difficult few weeks following allegations from Queen Letizia’s ex-brother-in-law had he had a relationship before and after her wedding to King Felipe.‌

Jamie Del Burgo, 53, who is currently based in the UK, had recently contributed to a tell-all book, which detailed the claim that the two were still romantically involved after her 2004 wedding to King Felipe.
