King Charles is set to step out with five other royals next week for an important reception at Windsor Castle, however one very senior royal won’t be present. Buckingham Palace has announced that the monarch, 76, will host a reception next week for those who have been awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise in 2025.

At the reception on June 12, the King will be accompanied by five other royals, with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester set to be by his side. However, Queen Camilla, 77, has not been listed among the royals set to attend the event.

The reason for this has not been given by the Palace.

At the reception, 197 British businesses that have been recognised for their achievements across four categories – innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility – will be celebrated.

Award winners will have the opportunity to meet the King, 76, and talk to him about their work.

As reported by GB News, The King’s Award for Enterprise represents the most prestigious business accolade in the UK and was established by Royal Warrant in 1965, with winners allowed to display The King’s Awards Emblem on their products and promotional materials for five years.

Among the award winners this year is Jellycat Limited – a brand recognised for creating innovative and design-led branded toys and gifts.

It is believed their main soft toy products are loved by the King’s grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with their dad Prince William revealing at a Palace garden party just weeks ago that his children go “crazy” for them.

Another business recognised for its work is Deluxe Art & Theme Ltd – a fit-out contractor that specialises in story-led interiors.

As reported by GB News, it has been honoured for its work on major attractions including Jurassic World, Disneyland Paris and Universal Orlando’s new Harry Potter theme park.
