Princess Kate's uncle says one thing will get George and Charlotte watching Big Brother

Princess Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has said what he thinks will get Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George watching the show. Mr Goldsmith said the children would most likely feel inclined to watch along with their mother if he did something silly such as a task while dressed as a big chicken.

He has already confirmed he will share a number of anecdotes on his time with the royal family on the show saying “they’re all lovely stories”.

Mr Goldsmith told The Sun: “Could you imagine if George and Charlotte watch? I mean it’s the type of show that a family could watch. But it’s past the watershed and will they be asleep by then?

“Maybe if I’m doing a weird task, Uncle Gary dressed as a chicken or something. But if I make people proud, I’ll be absolutely chuffed and maybe they’ll get to see it.

“But I need to work on my potty mouth first. I swear a lot.”

He was also asked whether he thinks Kate will watch the programme, replying that she would probably only watch if he does well.

Mr Goldsmith added: “If it turns out it’s been reported brilliantly and I’m doing great, then I almost guarantee that she will. If it’s going the wrong way, she should probably switch over.”

He also added that he thinks his sister will be watching him, albeit from behind the sofa.

He told The Sun: “I think they could always really trust me to know that I’m going to play the game well.

“I think [Carole] will probably be watching me from behind the sofa, slightly anxious, but I do think if the best version of Gary turns up, she’d be very proud of me — that’s what we were hoping for.”

Mr Goldsmith said he could remember holding Kate for the first time as a baby and had water pistol fights with her in the garden when she was growing up adding that she was now “number one royal”.
