Princess Kate’s next public appearance could be days away as the much-loved royal may attend Wimbledon. The 43-year-old, who last appeared during the annual Garter Day service at Windsor Castle last week, is known for her appearances at the sporting event.
According to The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor, Rebecca English, Kate will not carry out any public royal duties but she is “very likely” to attend Wimbledon, which starts on June 30. Kate – who is the Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) – will also reportedly be involved in the French State Visit at Windsor Castle from July 8 to 10.
Although she will be involved in the State Visit, it is not known if she will be in attendance at the glittering state banquet.
HELLO! have reported that although her appearances have been more frequent as of late, she still “has to find the right balance”.
The royal has made a gradual return to duties after taking some time away after announcing that she was undergoing chemotherapy last March.
Her most recent engagements have been attending this year’s Trooping the Colour and Garter Day – both of which took place earlier this month.
The royal – although still undergoing chemotherapy at the time – attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final on July 14 last year.
Stepping out for the major appearance, Kate was joined by her daughter, Princess Charlotte and sister, Pippa Matthews.
As well as the likelihood of attending Wimbledon, Kate will likely take a step back from duties as her children enter the summer holidays.
Kate, Prince William and their children are expected to retreat to their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall next month. The family will also likely spend some time at the Balmoral estate this summer – an annual tradition for the Royal Family.
