Princess Kate wears iconic England rugby hoodie and £128 Adidas trainers on farm outing

Much to the delight of royal fans, Princess Kate was spotted back on her feet in public in Windsor, visiting a local farm shop with Prince William at the weekend, and wearing a casual and sporty ensemble fit for the trip.

Putting her glittering ballgowns and formal suits aside while she recovers from abdominal surgery, Princess Kate kept it pared-back to the max in black leggings, Adidas UltraBoost trainers, comfy socks, and an Umbro hoodie.

The latest sighting of Kate as pictured in The Sun, came amid a slew of online conspiracy theories about the state of her health and after the release of an edited Mother’s Day picture which caused a global media storm.

Keeping it casual, Princess Kate, 42, wore the Umbro Men’s England Rugby Icon Hoodie in black with fluorescent orange stripes by the elbows. On her feet, Princess Kate wore Adidas Ultraboost core black trainers priced at £160.

The Umbro hoodie appears to have sold out online, whereas the Adidas running shows are available at the sale price of £128.

The picture was taken near their home in Windsor ahead of England’s game against France in the Six Nations and Kate has been a patron of the Rugby Football Union since 2022, often cheering on the England team.

Both Kate and William opted for down-to-earth friendly outfits for a quick trip to the farm shop in Windsor as they carried their own shopping, with William sporting a baseball cap.

Princess Kate is known for trend-setting and royal fans on social media asked whether the stylish outfit was available to buy online. User @Robyncortese wrote: “Do you think this hoodie is still available? I didn’t see it on the England rugby website.”

Whereas user @garbolatino2023 wrote: “It’s just so nice to see the princess even if she’s only wearing adidas and a sport jacket.”

The couple had visited the shop for supplies, having reportedly spent the morning watching their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, play sport, according to reports.

Analysing Kate’s body language, expert Judi James said Kate had no apparent reservations about being recognised when shopping.

She said: “While William’s face is partially hidden by the baseball cap and the angle of his head suggests a desire to remain anonymous, Kate’s body language looks happy and carefree as though she’s more than happy to be spotted.

“Her stride looks wide and her energy levels appear high. Her spirits look even higher though as she performs a cheek-rounded beam of what looks like authentic happiness.”

In January, Kensington Palace announced that Kate would not be involved in royal engagements until after Easter due to her surgery.

A statement from the palace’s account on X read: “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.:

Rumors started to spread about Kate’s disappearance from the spotlight after William missed a public service in February for “personal reasons” and Kate released an altered photo of her and her children on Mother’s Day.

Several agencies claimed the photo had been manipulated and it was subsequently pulled by several outlets. In a public statement released by Kate, the Princess said as an “amateur photographer” she occasionally “experiments” with editing.
