Princess Kate set to appear at major royal event with Prince George, Charlotte and Louis

The Princess of Wales could be set to appear at the Easter Sunday service alongside her three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – later this month.

Prince William and Princess Kate typically attend the service with their children, with Louis, five, making his debut at the major event last year.

If Kate does attend the church service it would mark her first appearance at a royal event since December – and three months after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

The Telegraph reports that the future Queen hasn’t ruled out attending the event and will make a final decision in the coming weeks.

Speculation that Kate, 42, could be set to appear at the key fixture in the royal calendar will undoubtedly excite royal fans.

The Princess of Wales has been recovering at home in Windsor since being discharged from The London Clinic on January 29.

The mother-of-three last stepped out alongside her family on Christmas Day, with news of the planned surgery coming three weeks into the new year.

Speculation over Kate’s potential appearance on March 31 has been fueled by a sighting of the royal earlier this week.

The royal is said to have been spotted looking “happy and relaxed” as she visited a farm shop near Windsor with William on Saturday.

After spotting the couple, an eyewitness told The Sun: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there.

“Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.

“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

The couple were said to have spent time watching their three children partake in sports on Sunday.

A statement, released on January 17, stated that Princess Kate would be taking time away from duties until “after Easter”.

It was also previously stated that Kate was not expected to return to public engagements until April 17 – the date that George, Charlotte and Louis return to school after the Easter break.

Prince William is also set to take some time away from duties during the Easter break, which is set to commence at the end of this week.

Kensington Palace aides have recently said that Princess Kate’s return will be a matter for her to decide as she has her own private medical information.
