Prince William has pulled out of attending a memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece at Windsor Castle due to a personal matter, Kensington Palace announced.
The Palace did not elaborate further but said William’s wife, Princess Kate, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, continues to be doing well.
The Princess of Wales is taking a break from royal engagements until after Easter, as she is still recovering from her abdominal surgery last month.
William, who was due to deliver a reading at the service in St George’s Chapel, called the Greek royal family who are attending to let them know he was unable to attend.
King Charles is also missing the service as he continues his cancer treatment.
