The Prince and Princess of Wales have been invited to take a royal tour of Australia by the country’s prime minister. Anthony Albanese said there was a “standing invitation” for Kate and William to visit the country in the “coming period”. He is hopeful they will take up the offer.
It’s been three years since the royal couple embarked on a major foreign tour. Their last was their highly criticised trip to the Caribbean for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. But later that year they did travel to Boston, USA for the annual Earthshot Prize.
