Princess Diana's glamorous nieces steal the show at Madrid's Fashion Week

Hitting the Spanish capital of Madrid for fashion week, Princess Diana’s twin nieces dazzled in their arrival as they wore matching tweed outfits and had front-row seats for the prestigious event

Eliza and Amelia Spencer, 31, were the centre of attention at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid when they attended the Lola Casademunt by Maite fashion show.

Twinning in tweed as pictured in Hello! Magazine, Lady Amelia paired a bronze structured shirt with a matching metallic tie, slipping into wide-leg plaid trousers and pointed-toe heels. She also added shining emerald green chandelier earrings and a matching tweed handbag to her look.

Meanwhile, Lady Eliza matched her sister and donned a tweed shorts suit, with a beige turtle neck beneath her textured blazer along with a matching oversized handbag.

Both Eliza and Amelia wore their blonde hair in a poker-straight style.

Through social media, Eliza and Amelia Spencer showed the world how much fun they were having in the Spanish capital. They stayed at the glamorous Madrid Edition hotel, located in Plaza de Celenque, a quiet corner of the city centre that is surrounded by historic buildings.

Amelia showed one of the rooms on social media, with a huge double bed covered by white sheets and a grey fur blanket and with a striking white headboard in the shape of a leaf.

The Spencer twins are no strangers to the fashion world, having previously walked the runway at London Fashion Week in 2023, showcasing the designs of British fashion designer Josh Birch Jones.

The twins’ appearance comes 11 months after Amelia married her long-term partner Greg in South Africa.

Related to the royals through their late aunt Princess Diana’s marriage to King Charles, Charles Spencer’s children have grown up on the periphery of the trappings of royal life.

The most well-known of the clan are his daughters Lady Kitty Lewis, 32 and her younger twin sisters Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer, 31.

Lady Kitty is a global brand ambassador for Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, and as such for her wedding in 2021, they were able to provide her with several stunning gowns for all of the celebrations.

Amelia and Eliza, who were raised in South Africa, also regularly post updates from their glamorous lives on their respective Instagram pages.

They are often seen at prestigious events such as the Chelsea Flower Show, last year they both attended wearing pink floaty dresses.
