Princess Charlotte's very telling clue she 'worships' dad Prince William

Princess Charlotte made a very telling gesture that shows she “hero-worships” dad Prince William, an expert has said. Princess Kate hosted a carol service at Westminster Abbey before Christmas supported by her husband Prince William and their children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Louis.

The royal children were introduced to the Dean of Westminster, Dr David Hoyle, outside the Abbey’s great west door when they first arrived with their father William.

As they walked into the Abbey they paused for a moment to post Christmas cards, in a special postbox, containing messages for children who might be struggling this Christmas, something open to all youngsters attending.

Recalling the event, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror it was Charlotte, who produced the most telling sign, explaining: “Even though she walks with her mother she throws a quick glance back at her father.

“William is doing his usual auto-contact checking gesture, placing one hand over his jacket in a partial barrier ritual. Charlotte picks up on this and mirrors William, performing an identical gesture as they walk into the Abbey.

“It’s always seen as George who is the one who copies and mirrors his father, while Charlotte has copied Kate in the past but this one simple but twinned mimicry gesture suggests that Charlotte hero-worships both her mum and her dad and has strong feelings of empathy for William in particular.”

Charlotte’s mum the Princess of Wales, 42, is recovering from abdoninal surgery in hospital. She is not expected to carry out official engagements until after Easter, with the Prince of Wales clearing his diary of official duties for the time being.

Queen Camilla was been seen leaving the The London Clinic on Friday after visiting the King who underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty is staying at the same medical facility as the Princess of Wales.

Her car was seen driving to the rear entrance of the hospital at 6.34pm and Camilla was then seen leaving the hospital in the back seat of the car just before 8pm.

The Queen told people inside The London Clinic earlier on Friday that the King was “doing well” after the procedure.

He was diagnosed with the benign condition on January 17 while staying at Birkhall, Aberdeenshire, after going for a check-up because he was experiencing symptoms.

The King is understood to have wanted to share the news to encourage other men to get themselves checked.

Charles, who only acceded to throne 16 months ago, cancelled engagements and was urged to rest by his doctors ahead of the corrective procedure.
