Prince William is all smiles tonight as he steps out at the UEFA Women’s Euro match to watch England play against Netherlands. The Prince of Wales, 43, has flown to Zurich, Switzerland, on Wednesday to watch the game and cheer on the Lionesses.

The game, which started at 5pm BST, is taking place at Stadion Letzigrun. The Prince of Wales has not been accompanied by Princess Kate, 43, or his three children to the match.

The future King is expected to be feeling some nerves tonight as the Lionessess could be eliminated from the tournament if they lose to the Netherlands.

William’s appearance at the all important game comes after he visited the team at St George’s Park just weeks ago.

During this visit, William wished the Lionesses good luck and personally helped to print names and numbers on the shirts that they will wear in Switzerland for the match.

On June 30, William then took to social media to wish the team luck.

He wrote: “Best of luck to the Lionesses at the Women’s Euros. Take pride in all that’s been achieved and believe in bringing home the win!”

William’s trip to Switzerland comes just days before he is set to take to the polo fields for the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025 this Friday.

The match, which will take place on July 11 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, will raise important funds for charity, with the total amount raised expected to be more than £14,000,000.

This will then be split between charities chosen by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
