Prince William reveals George and Louis have very different tastes in music

Prince George and Prince Louis may be brothers, with similar looks and a shared path of privilege carved out for them, but they don’t agree on everything. Their father Prince William has revealed that the royal boys diverge when it comes to their tastes in music.

The eldest and future King, 10-year-old George, is into his hard rock. His dad told pop band OneRepublic backstage at the Earthshot Prize awards in November that the little Prince is a big fan of ACDC.

However, according to Prince William, baby-faced Louis, who’s five, is into softer melodies. The 41-year-old heir to the throne told the six-piece American pop stars at the Earthshot event: “I can’t thank you enough. You were amazing. What a way to start the show. That was incredible. Louis, my youngest, loves your songs.”

Besides Aussie rock legends ACDC, Prince George is also a huge fan of British icons Led Zeppelin. His dad revealed his taste for classic rock earlier this summer.

At the climate event, OneRepublic had showcased their hits Counting Stars and I Ain’t Worried, while British four-piece Bastille and English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings closed the ceremony. The Prince of Wales told Bastille that their rendition of Pompeii to close the show – about the natural disaster that destroyed the city when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD – had a notable impact on the audience members around him.

According to Hello!, he said: “You guys blew it away. Honestly, it was incredibly moving, it was very powerful and I didn’t want it to stop. And everyone in front of me was crying. I mean, I didn’t see behind me but there were tears everywhere. It was so powerful and a great way to finish the show. So thank you so much.”

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ other child, Princess Charlotte, has been grabbing headlines of late. The eight-year-old sent royal fans into a frenzy when she was pictured having an adorable conflab with her cousin Mia Tindall at the Sandringham Christmas Day walkabout.

The sweet moment happened as the Royal Family assembled in Norfolk before attending a church service at St Mary Magdalene.

In a viral TikTok clip of the pair, Mia notices a royal admirer offering a bouquet and turns to Charlotte to let her know. The little Princess graciously tells her cousin to go ahead and receive the flowers on her behalf.

The moment was highlighted in a clip by TikToker @wikagelchlo, garnering upwards of three million views to date. The caption of the post read: “Princess Charlotte let Mia get the flowers that were for her, but she let her get it.”
