Prince William opens up on why he felt he had to issue major intervention


Prince Willliam’s emotional statement urging the end of fighting in the Israel-Hamas war comes after a deep-rooted care which emerged six years ago on a visit, a statement from Kensington Palace says.

The future King made headlines today after revealing he was keen to meet those delivering aid on the frontline of the human crisis in Gaza.

Today he said: “I remain deeply concerned about the terrible human cost of the conflict in the Middle East since the Hamas terrorist attack on 7 October.
