Prince William and Princess Kate release candid unseen picture of the Wales children

The Prince and Princess of Wales are saying goodbye to 2023 in style with a gorgeous photo round-up jam-packed of snaps – including a previously unseen image of their children.

As the year draws to a close Prince William and Princess Kate have made sure to make a lasting impression of their year with their fans. The pair took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to share a lovely array of images taken over the last 12 months.

They posted a video to their official X channel @KensingtonRoyal with the caption: “2023 [tick emoji]. “Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our year.”

One snap in the clip showed William with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in an unseen photo from their Father’s Day shoot, reports MailOnline.

They are posing on a bench installed at Windsor to commemorate the late Queen’s 90th birthday and it was taken by Millie Pilkington – a photographer and family friend.

Other images in the reel depict a wide range of events and visits such as the whole family in their official regalia for King Charles’s Coronation, Prince William and Princess Kate epitomising Hollywood glamour attending the BAFTAs and watching the Six Nations rugby.

One image captures Princess Kate enjoying her beekeeping passion – to celebrate World Bee Day in May. The photograph was originally posted on Kensington Royal’s Instagram.

Princess Kate shared the picture of herself decked out in protective beekeeping gear tending one of the hives she keeps at Anmer Hall, the Norfolk home kept by her and Prince William as a country retreat.

The image was taken by Matt Porteous who is the royal photographer behind Prince William and Kate’s official family photographs. It stunned fans who didn’t know about her beekeeping passion.

Another image in the clip shows Prince William and Princess Kate taking part in a spin class during a visit to Aberavon Leisure and Fitness Centre in Port Talbot.

At the time the pair shocked onlookers as they took part in the class by reigniting their rivalry as they raced each other for an intense 45-second session on the bikes provided at the centre.

One of the images shows Princess Kate playing the piano – another of her hobbies – during the Eurovision song contest in April.
