Convicted fraudster Gerald Ronson was made a CBE for his philanthropy and good deeds in the Jewish community.
The tycoon, 84, was one of the “Guinness Four” behind a multi-million share-trading scandal at the drinks company in the 1980s.
He served a one-year jail term and was fined £5million.
But since then he has become known for raising millions of pounds for charities, setting up the Jewish Community Security Trust and becoming vice-president of child protection charity the NSPCC.
The father-of-four received an OBE in 2012, declaring himself “privileged and honoured”.
